Wolf Creek

Wolf Creek Ski Area is situated at Wolf Creek Pass in southwestern Colorado. Known for its abundant snowfall, average 465" a year, it very often has great powder skiing conditions throughout the winter. Somewhat out the way compared to other resorts, it is popular with locals, although various major airlines fly to the Durango-La Plata County Airport, which makes it more accessible. With its great snow and reasonable lift tickets, it's worth the trip for many skiers.
