Echo Mountain is the closest ski area to Denver, only 35 miles away. It is a small ski resort that caters to locals and beginners. It doesn’t have all the amenities of the big resorts but Echo Mountain focuses on on being quickly accessible from cities on the Front Range and affordability. Lift tickets are much less expensive than many of the resorts further west and night skiing is available for the after work crowd. Echo Mountain also uniquely offers completely private event rentals.
