Ski Granby Ranch, formerly known as SolVista Basin, is a midsized ski resort within a couple hours drive of Denver. As the name suggests, it is associated with Granby Ranch, a four season mountain resort. Ski Granby Ranch is known as a calmer and quieter place to learn to ski, without the crowds of some other resorts. There is terrain for every level though, as well as terrain parks. Lift tickets are reasonable as well. There is lodging including slope side condos. This smaller resort has beautiful scenery and will be just the right speed for some.
