Sunlight Mountain Resort is a smaller ski resort near Glenwood Springs. It has runs for every level, from the steep inclines of the East Ridge to beginners runs, including Ute which is 2.5 miles long. There are aspen groves for those that want tree runs. Sunlight Mountain Resort provides a less expensive alternative to nearby Aspen and Snowmass. From the summit you can see the stunning Mount Sopris. In addition to alpine skiing, there are miles of groomed cross country and snowshoe trails available to use for free. This small resort has a lot to offer.
